Q4 2024 Progress Update

Well I got nice and sick to ring in the New Year so 2025 is off to a great start.

At least I’m ambulatory now.

New Year’s Eve itself was great though! Managed to celebrate without having myself be crippled the next day which I always consider a plus.

But you didn’t come here to hear about my personal woes (I assume) but to hear about the progress I’ve made on this little project of mine! So where do exactly do things stand on said endeavor?

Pretty well I’m happy to report!

As the world’s most wonderful Christmas/New Year’s Eve present I had quite a few people spend their Holiday season wrapping up their chapter reviews and while I’m still awaiting most of those (and still need to conduct the exit interviews) I’m incredibly proud/relieved to report the feedback thus far has been overwhelmingly positive!

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I’ll be able to get enough responses to begin officially wrapping up the saga that has been Round Two of beta and begin the wholly unsexy process of processing all the data to see if I need to do a Round Three. Consultations with both Rounds may take place prior to that particular endeavor but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Works continued to be crazy (2024 was one of the busiest years on record) and that combined with trying to have a social life/keep up to date on this project all had me feeling like Bilbo on his 111th birthday (i.e. like butter spread over too much bread) but now that I’m (hopefully) on the mend I reckon I’ll be ready to hop back up in the saddle in no time.

So that’s where I’m at dear reader: sick as a dog, happy as a clam, and busy as a bee. Let’s see if we can’t find a healthier, more productive balance this year, eh?
