A Little Touch n' Go
Ah, lockpicks: a couple of fucked up little sprigs of metal that lead to hours of confusion, frustration and, ultimately, sweet undiluted victory.
Yes, dear reader, I picked up a pair way back when- not for nefarious purposes, mind, but to better understand something I was trying to write. I’ve never been one to advocate for method acting but I will say it is profoundly easier for me to write something when you’re not pulling out the minute details out of your ass. If that means learning knew skills well…diversifying your portfolio is sound advice for anything really and everyone needs a new toy every once and a while.
Now, those of you out there who are beta readers should (hopefully) understand how this purchase came in handy. Those who aren’t certainly will be once the story comes out!
In any case this particular set both expanded my understanding of certain processes for my story (so I don’t sound completely uninformed) as well as serving as a fun way to achieve passive zen when I get home from work.
I hope you enjoyed the little peek behind the curtain, dear reader, but regardless please believe me when I say: dead bolts are underrated.
