A Little Bit of The Good Stuff

I have some travelling to do this week and some good old fashioned manual labor to do once I get there (with some adult beverages likely to follow once we’re done) and in that vein I thought “hey, why not start now?”

In all seriousness the occasional lowball or two is a good way to wind down after a long day of writing or, you know….existing. It allows an opportunity to reflect, to indulge in a subtle reminder that good things come to those who take their time. Good stories (just like good whiskey) cannot be rushed. And, if you do rush it, you’ll know it’s shit before you even pour.

If nothing else it’s certainly yum-yum in my tum-tum so let’s just all collectively agree to allow that little episode of waxing poetic for a moment shall we?
